Healthcare quality professionals know that strong teams with clearly articulated objectives and roles can outperform any solitary, individual effort when it comes to performance improvement (PI) projects. During COVID, teams needed to evolve to accommodate their individual members in a wider variety of work settings, from physical offices to the home. While we don’t know for sure what the future may bring, we know that virtual and hybrid work settings are here to stay. This provides both challenges and opportunities; we just need to adopt some new techniques to maximize our teams’ effectiveness and value!

Join NAHQ’s panel of our experts as they discuss the importance of team building in any setting and provide best practices for high performing teams. Come prepared to share your experiences on a team, good and bad, and leave armed with information and tools that will help your team thrive in our “new normal.”

After participating in this Learning Lab, you will be able to:

• Identify the characteristics of high performing teams and the challenges of virtual/hybrid work environments

• Implement tools from your quality toolkit that will help make your team work together more effectively and efficiently

• Implement team building best practices in virtual, hybrid, and in-person work environments
